I don't think I'd put L-ville/Kentucky down as a mismatch. It may end up that way, but it's no foregone conclusion, especially after Louisville's showing this weekend.

Plus this is a big game for both teams state wise. I wonder what the undre/over is going to be?

Heck, even when Tennessee plays Vandy it's a good rivalry game.

I'd put the over/under at 100.

It might be higher scoring than one of their basketball games.

Unthinkable as it may be, I think I am more excited for BSU than Notre Dame this weekend. The Cards plastered Eastern Mich. last weekend, have an important and maybe even winnable game against Navy to possibly start 2-1, and ND is becoming a nonentity to me. Hopefully Charlie does to Jimmy what he should've done from the beginning last week and allow him to throw downfield.

Central Florida may give Texas more than they can handle.

Pitt vs Michigan St is always a funky game.

Georgia Tech vs BC is for the best team in the ACC imo.

USC with a week off before the Nebraska game, how do they do when they have a bye like that?

I'm impressed by both teams so far.

It'll be a well played game, for sure. Under the lights in Atlanta. Only two games played, but Georgia Tech is 4th in rush offense and BC is 4th in rush defense. That's the game right there. I can't wait. Beer is already cold.

I can't believe you think Louisiana Tech is a mismatch against Cal.

Geaux Tigers and Go Bulldogs (alma mater)

I wouldn't either, especially since Kentucky has home field advantage. I expect Louisville to win, but I think it will be competitive.

They lost to Texas in the Rose Bowl after a long break and lost to Oregon State after a bye last season.

That defense will eat up Keller, whether the game is in Lincoln or not.

They also pounded Michigan after a long break last year.

I'd say USC takes it by 3 touchdowns.

SIU gets a gimme against Southern Utah next week. We beat them 59-0 last year. Looking for much of the same this week.

Illinois should be able to roll over 'Cuse, but if they play as poorly as they did against WIU, then who knows? NIU also plays a pretty bad team in Eastern Michigan as they open up MAC play. Pretty decent chance for all 3 teams to win.

When Notre Dame comes to Ann Arbor on Saturday, it will be a grim meeting between 0-2 teams. Senior tailback Mike Hart vowed that Michigan will not end up with its first 0-3 start since 1937. ''We're going to win next week,'' Hart said. ''There's no question in my mind. I guarantee we win next week.'' Even though Hart is playing through a thigh bruise, and even though senior quarterback Chad Henne didn't play in the second half because of an injury to his lower left leg that makes him doubtful for the Irish game, Hart was undeterred.

I expect ND to win this game. Michigan has nothing. Hart or heart alone will not win this game.

When was the last time Michigan finished outside of the top 20/25?

What's worse is that they (and Florida St I believe) have the longest non losing seasons (500 or better) streaks going.

2 years ago ending a long run. LLoyd is doing some great things with their rankings lately. It's quite embarrasing for him.

Colin Cowherd (of all people) made a good point about Carr's overall record. Some are defending him because his overall record is good, but he's lost 4 straight bowls, is under .500 against top 20 teams, etc. Longevity and beating up weak non-con and bottom feeder Big 10 teams will make your record look awfully good
