well this game is over. our best hitter out for the game. so since Brewers and Cardinals are going to gain a game once again. Brewers will be only .5 and Cardinals only 1 game out. The prophecy about the Cardinals winning the division seems more and more likely.

That was the same pitch he called a strike earlier in the count.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised he argued it.

hes probably just sick of a pitch that isnt a strike being called a strike.

I think he argued it because that same strike also got called in his other ABs. It'd be one thing if Hill got that corner, but Ramirez has consistently been getting rung up on that pitch today.

Way to stick up for your player Lou you freaking coward. You sat on your ass and did nothing last weekend while the umps kept screwing us with their zone, and now today you go out there and basically say and do nothing. You coward.

JESU CHRISTO THEY'RE NOT WINNING THE FLIPPIN DIVISION JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE THE FLIPPIN CARDINALS LOOK AT SOMETHING OBJECTIVE AND QUIT BEING THE ANNOYING ASS CUB FANS THAT TALK ABOUT CURSES AND MYSTICISM AND REALIZE THAT THE CARDINALS ARE A DOGBLEEP TEAM

That part of the plate has only been getting called with the fastball that tails back toward the plate from a righty - when Hill was hitting that spot with his big curve, the ump had already given up on the pitch.

I personally thought it was a strike.

I just looked at it with Tivo. It was definitely over the plate, the only question was whether or not it was high enough. Looked right at the knees to me.

If it's been being called a strike all day when Rammy's batting, he should have swung and shouldn't be surprised that it was called a strike again. It's not like the ump had been calling that pitch a ball with Rammy up today.

It was a close pitch that the ump had called a strike a couple pitches earlier and there were two strikes in the count. You've got to protect.

St. Albert wouldn't have said a word. He wouldn't have broken his helmet either. Would've taken it off signed it and given it to orphans. Orphans with diseases.
