If you watch barretts left hand it looks like he grabs or touches zambrano as if he wasn't done talking. Zambrano was starting to turn around. That's my take. Barrett was the physical aggressor but Z made first actual contact. MB was moving forward and reaching out as Z was backing up, and he made a defensive push off.
