I'll give several of the Heat players credit for being pretty classy at the end of the game. Wade, Mourning, and Walker for sure were giving hugs to most of the Bulls players and giving (presumably) words of encouragement to the guys as they left the court.

No Posey though...so it's safe to still hate him...:D

Do we get a break before detroit or are we gonna start playing tuesday or wednesday?

Don't we have to wait until all the 1st round series are over? I don't know how it works.

I think so

Yep, it's worth noting they were classy in defeat.

I think it will be a while. Since the NBA likes to stretch out the playoffs forever.

To think just 11 days ago I was incensed the Bulls blew a shot at the number 2 seed. Screw that. This couldn't have worked out any better. We got our revenge, in spades, on Miami, and now it's time to prove we are the best team in the East. Bring it on Detroit. We're ready.

I'd still rather play Detroit in the ECF.

I'm feeling strangely optimistic today.

Playoffs predictions:

Mavs over Warriors in 5

Suns over Lakers in 7

Spurs over Nuggets in 6

Rockets over Jazz in 5

Pistons over Magic in 5

Cavs over Wizards in 4

Raptors over Nets in 7

Bulls over Heat in 5

Apparently not quite optimistic enough. Although the Mavs and Rockets picks are already wrong.

Awesome! I really didn't think they'd pull today's game out. But man, watching that Heat team, it is clear that they are old.

I really have to give the Bulls a ton of credit for standing up to the big bad champs who were fouling them hard all series to get up every time and make a bigger stand with a big shot, rebound, etc. Bottom line is, this team is much much better than the Heat.

This is a well rounded team that stared an undesirable situation for all media members (sans John Hollinger) and just whooped the Champs. It feels great.

Miami got the matchup they didn't want. Everybody was so fixated on how nobody wanted to play the Heat. From the beginning of this series, Scott Skiles has maintained his composure in preparing his team for a difficult series after a devastating last night of the regular season. There was no theatrics about playing the nasty Heat. Instead, it was all confidence and a business-like approach that the entire team adopted as its philosophy about this series. There wasn't a fear of not getting out of the first round. This team believes in themselves and they weren't going to be stopped.

Bring on Detroit. We are not afraid of anybody.

I'm really not a basketball fan at all, and I rarely watch the NBA or anything, but I did watched the last couple minutes of today's game, and even to me it was obvious the Heat looked terrible. Turning over the ball, missing easy shots, etc. They were doing it all.

Well they threw in the towel with about a minute and a half left and before that they were playing horrible. They are not a very good team, but they weren't as bad as you probably witnessed.

Sweeping the Heat was critical because we need all the energy against the well-rested Pistons.

Bravo, Bulls, Bravo. I was close to abandoning you guys after that last game fiasco, but you regained my confidence. Thank you for the first series win without Michael, and lets make it 3 more. :D

Word is Pistons series will probably start around Saturday. The Final 4 in the East is pretty much set as Toronto is getting embarrassed and going down 3-1.

I gotta say I love the new Dwayne Wade / Charles Barkley commercial.

Wade: "Now that was impressive....you fitting into those tight white shorts. Sexayyyy."
