Murton looked horrible in game 1. I'm fine with the extra lefty bat in the line up today. Definitely rather see Jones hitting 2nd rather than Izturis. But, I'd also rather have Theriot in the 2 spot.

Does anybody know if this game will be televised anywhere on direct TV. It lists comcast but I can't find a comcast+ anywhere? Any help would be appreciated?

 

MLB EI is free this week, and the game is on somewhere between Channel 735 and 749

is there some event i'm not aware of where the 2 spot hitters compete in a 100 meter dash or something? why does it matter if the 2 hitter is fast? he won't be doing any running in front of lee and ramirez.

 

i'm fine with theriot starting, but i wish it was at the expense of izturis instead of derosa.

Considering the relative lack of singles and walks from Soriano, I'd say there probably isn't a better place in the lineup to put him. It would minimize the incidence of GIDP out of him, helping to maximize his value to the team.

I didn't say he had to be fast, I just think he shouldn't be slower than Barry Bonds.

 

And that's mainly so he can get from first to home on a double, which I really don't think Floyd is capable of right now.

It would be pretty awesome for my fantasy team if here were to become eligible at catcher.
