Defense be damned, the Atlanta Falcons select WR Dwayne Jarrett, USC.

Petrino needs a lot of help on both sides of the ball, and Vick hasn't exactly had a strong group of receivers over the years.

Dang, I was holding out a sliver of hope he'd fall to me somehow.

I was gonna grab him if Bob didn't so you didn't have much of a shot. Now I'm back to the drawing board and only one pick away.

The Miami Dolphins select Sidney Rice, WR, South Carolina.

They get their potential #1 receiver in the second round to help infuse youth into an aging receiving corps. With Booker, Chambers, and Hagan ahead of him at the outset, there's no pressure on him to perform right away, so he can continue to develop.

The Minnesota Vikings select:

Anthony Gonzalez WR Ohio St

The Vikings need help at WR. As of right now our top 3 WRs are Bobby Wade, Troy Williamson, and Billy McMullen. Gonzalez adds depth and could contribute greatly this season.

HerbalK and the 49ers are on the clock. I shot him a PM.

I'm about to go to work for, oh, 10 hours, so when the Bills come up, someone draft me a CB

We'll give you Vance's boy Chaz Williams

In response to this post, I'm gonna draft for the Bills....

Eric Wright, CB- UNLV. Possibly the most talented CB in the draft. Was a top recruit to USC but was dismissed for personal issues. Best CB on the board right now at a need position for the Bills.

Bob Sanders and the Falcons are on the clock. PM Sent.

The Panthers take Ryan Kalil, center out of USC. Can't have enough offensive lineman especially on our team.

Figured you would be upset. C could be the Steelers biggest need. Don't really have a starter there right now.

Yeah that one hurt. I think you can get good inside guys later in the draft, though. With that said, the Steelers are up in the air about how long they will play the 3-4, so I a hybrid DE/OLB is a good place and I saw this guy terrorize the SEC.

Thus,

the Pittsburgh Steelers select Charles Johnson, DE, University of Georgia

I PM'd Flames, but a mod needs to update the thread title since a few pics have gone by.

Packers select Michael Bush out of Louisville.

Could've went three ways here; Bush, Irons, or Pittman. I think all three backs would fit well into our system, but I really believe that Bush could be an elite back if he can stay healthy. His strength combined with his speed and agility could make for a very good back. Might have been a reach, but this guy was supposed to be a top 10-15 pick before he broke his leg in the first game of the season.

A combination of Bush, Morency, and Herron isn't the best, but it's not horrible either.

Wow that is a huge reach. After having a 2nd leg surgery on March 20th to have his old rod removed and a new rod placed in his leg, he will be out quite a bit longer now. He will not be able to workout or do anything until probably May or June. I've seen him falling into the 2nd day.

Most of the mocks that I've seen have him in the 3rd round. Needless to say, I was desparate for a good RB. I think Bush is going to make some team real happy on Draft Day.

I was hoping to get him in the 3rd.
