Bingo. Let's see how they look next week before pushing the panic button. They did a nice job coming back after the Miami loss. Did we really expect them to go undefeated; to sweep 3 straight East Coast roadies? Grossman has his issues; but let's wait and see. Agreed again. The Grossman haters will ride hard this week, but really, what can you accomplish by playing Greise? Greise was there as a BACKUP in case Grossman got hurt. Until that time I would be very disappointed with the coaching staff if they listened to the talk radio junk and benched Grossman. Grossman is the future, and he's showed a hell of a lot of promise in his first full year. We took down two tough New York teams, and lost to one of the best teams in the NFL, and a 3 time Superbowl QB. Their defense is stellar, and they were playing at home. I'm not saying there weren't things that went wrong, but I'm very far from the panic button. Great post, and I agree completely with everything you said.
Ok, I countered with Wright and Scot Shields for Liriano, Lowell, and Trevor Hoffman. I am more willing to pick up pitching now with Kazmir's start pushed back for the second time in 2-3 weeks. What do you guys think of this move now?
Hey guys. What do you think of this trade. I'd give up the top rated 3B and a top 10 OF for a top 5 SP and a top 3-5 3B. I have Willis, Pettitte, Kazmir, Verlander, Zambrano, Pedro, Jered Weaver, Joe Blanton, and Doug Davis already. Do I need Liriano? Should I just stick with what I have and not mess with a good offense? I just dropped CPatt and added Edmonds, as well. Thanks for your advice, Herb.
I have Lugo at SS. I really needed help in offensive walks, pitching wins and Ks. I am among the league leaders in RBI and HR, so losing Tejada wasn't a huge hit. Plus, he has 2 homers in the last month. Thanks for your input, guys.
So, I just traded Tejada for Zambrano and Bonds. Categories are R, H, HR, RBI, K, BB, SB, AVG. For pitching, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, and IP. How do you think I made out?
