Did anybody see the Saints website?

http://www.neworleanssaints.com/

A huge mugshot of Urlacher is the main story, with the words "WHO DATS! VS. 'DA BEARS IN NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME" running over it.

On ESPN.com NFL section poll, the question is "Who will win Superbowl XLI?" Bears are last with 12% of the vote, Saints 25%, Colts 29%, Patriots 34%.

Aren't they ripping off the "Who Dey?" of last year's Bengals?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The Bengals are the ones who ripped it off. "Who Dat?" comes from a song that came out in 1981 called "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?"

Wikipedia disagrees with you. They say it was a Bengals song in 1981, and Who Dey is also the name of the Bengals mascot apparently.

That's complete malarkey. Seriously. "Who dat" is a FAMOUS FAMOUS Saints song. Bengals fans love to say that crap.

I'd like to thank the 2 of you for making me feel old.

Why are you thanking me? I'm the one who informed him about the past.

You dropped the 1981 bomb.

I'm glad the Bears are underdogs. Everyone has become a hater. Good. There are only 2 teams in the NFL with only 3 losses this year, and the Bears are the only one in it! Screw the haters. Gooooo Bears!

The 1981 Saints went 4-12. I think everybody said they would beat the Saints.

So it's kinda like "A Dying Cubs Fan's last request"? It's still odd how they took something that was intended as self-depreciating and now use it as a bragging rights song. Doesn't really matter, "Bear Down" is better anyway.

On to the game, this will be tough. The Saints can put up a ton of points, and the D isn't as bad as people think. I think/hope good Rex shows up again and the Bears outslug the Saints 31-27.

Saints offense is ranked higher than the Bears defense and the Saints D is ranked higher than the Bears offense.

The weather is going to be the toughest thing for the Saints in my opinion.

Considering the fact that the Saints have not played in VERY COLD WEATHER all yr (disadvantage for teams in the NFC/AFC South, come playoff time, IMO), I think it will be the "cold weather" that hurts the Saints. Playoff time plus cold weather in the midwest is a different brand of football, then regular season plus warm weather in the southern states. I just doubt the ability of the Saints to play smash-mouth football in January.

My opinion is...the Bears/Saints game won't be a high scoring game. I believe the Bears will win Sunday, and I don't think it will be as close as some WANT it to be. I'm thinking something like 24-7.

I love the Bears, but if they hold the Saints to 7 points, I'll...I don't know what I'll do. It isn't going to happen. The Seahawks scored 24, and the Saints have a much better offense than they do.

I hope the Bears shut them down cold, but I can't see that happening.

I'm a little late on this observation but... It is my firm belief that anybody that lives in Chicago and the surrounding areas and doesn't root for the Bears should be deported.

First: Seattle was/is more equipped to play in the cold that Chicago brought. I'm not convince Nawlins will be the "threat" people think they are.

Second: 7 points might be a little bit ambitous, but I do think the current Bears D has the talent to do, regardless of how they've played recently. But I will revised my score....24-14.

The Bears defense has to get more pressure on Brees than they did on Hasselback.

I'm excited, but I'm not optimistic.

Nor can I. It seems clear the Saints are going to put up points. The only question is, whether the Bears offense can score a few of their own, avoid costly turnovers while getting a couple opportunistic ones themselves.

The Bears CAN win this game, but it will be very difficult. Right now, as much as I love my Bears, I'd have to give the edge to NO.

I'm going to miss the second half of this game as I'll be flying back to Louisiana from Chicago. :(

Sorry to have to say this, but I sincerely hope you are crushed for having missed the greatest moment in Bear history for the past 20 years 8-)

Well, I'm not a Saints fan. I was crushed two weeks ago. My entire family is Saints fans...so it's kind of nice to see them do well. But, if they lose, I'm not going to get all upset over it.

whereas I'll miss the first half because of work. DVR to the rescue!

And I'm glad people got my point about the Katrina thing. I think the Saints ARE a good story, but not because of the hurricane. They're a good story because they got good players, a good coach, and are finally playing well after 30 years. THAT is the story in N.O.

I'm rooting for the Bears all the way. Should the Saints win, I'd probably root for them over New England. If it's N.O. vs. Indy, well then I just hope for a good game. I like Peyton Manning and would like to see him get the Superbowl monkey off his back

You will enjoy this article.

What a garbage article,

All you have to know about the Bears offense is that Rex Grossman is the starting quarterback. Do we really need to elaborate on that?

I guess that tard didn't watch the game yesterday were Grossman made play after play in the passsing game.

How do these idiots get reporting jobs?
