Coke or Pepsi?

Following the recent poll trend, because I'm original like that. I'm disregarding any others, plenty of which are admittedly better, and going with the old-school debate.

PepsiCo has been taking more and more of Coke's business every year over the past decade. I wouldn't worry about it. It was once unthinkable that Coke would one day not be king of the cola hill, but we're headed in that direction.

 

Of course, that has more to do with marketing than product.

 

 

Coca-Cola tastes like RC with talcum powder or something in it. Awful aftertaste. If faced with a choice between Coke and no soft drink, it's no soft drink. I can stomach Cherry Coke, but barely.

My "coke" vote is really for "diet coke" b/c I don't drink the regular version of either.

I prefer RC over both of these, but I definitely take Coke over Pepsi.

 

I looked for a prior poll too. I didn't notice this poll anywhere in the first 12 pages, which took me back to August of 05.

If I'm drinking straight soda, it would be Pepsi. However, in mixed drinks I will use Coke.

Pepsi takes like many other colas. I feel like that "spice" that's in Coke really distinguishes it from the rest and makes it my favorite,
