Crap, I thought Furcal was going to be our SS. Anyways, let's hope for the best with Cedeno.

Ronny Cedeno went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and a walk yesterday for Aragua of the VWL.

Cedeno has gotten hot the last couple of weeks and is batting .357/.396/.429 in 98 at-bats in Venezuela.

Disappointing, but Furcal isn't worth $13 million a year. I suspect Walker is still on the block. I can live with Neifi! at SS for part of this season if we can good players in CF and RF. Better that than paying $13 million per year for Furcal.

New plan: Get a good defensive SS and a 2B who provides offense and OBP. What did you say? We already have both of those needs already taken care of? For a total of less than $3 mill?

I have faith as well, but Hendry will wait to make a good trade during the season rather than a bad one in the off-season if it's necessary.

Todd Walker for starting 2B in 2006. He's cheap and good. Who's with me? Cedeno starting at SS, Neifi unfortunately getting too many AB's, and investing all that meant set aside for Furcal for CF/RF.
