Another 1st down.

Dogs are looking really good if they can go up 21-10.

SC gets the ball back in the 2nd half right?

Mizzou sucks.

Not a chance Mizzou was going to win in Snyder's last game! I am SO upset that he retired! Hope we get someone else in there who can light a fire under this young team.

Top 3 candidates:

1. Leavitt

2. Venables

3. Gary Patterson

I'll take any of the 3!

I don't think Leavitt will leave USF. He has a good thing going in Tampa, and he now has a situation where he can make a run at a few BCS bids out of the Big East. I know he was an assistant at K-State, but he owns that program at USF now. I could see him using K-State as leverage to get a raise.

ugh i HATE that Dish pulled Fox Sports Net off almost a year ago. I can not believe I'm missing this game.

I hate that I don't get Comcast SportsNet in Muncie. Although having FSN Midwest (STL) might pay off for a few Cubs/Cards games later.

It is still 14-10 but Fresno is driving.

I may be wrong but I don't think a USC loss will help ND. It will take up another at large. Also if they do lose, will they move down any furthur than 2?

I can't see USC falling below 2 in the BCS if they lose this one as long as they don't look too bad doing it. Even so I think O$U would be the odd man out and not ND in that situation, even though that's kind of unfair to the Buckeyes.

It's a nonconference game, so as long as USC beats UCLA next week they will still win the Pac 10 and get the automatic bid. Will they drop past PSU with a loss? I dunno, but I would like to find out.

And Ronnie makes a good point as well that I forgot about completely. :)

Exactly.

They could drop to 3rd in the BCS and with Miami's loss, it opens the door for Penn State to get to the National Championship.

Haha, just a little. Although O$U getting shafted is far from a terrible thing.

I agree. :D

If Fresno can stop SC from scoring before the half it would be a huge boost. They kill you with those late in the half scoring drives.

Kinda hilarious that the one Dog defender tossed Reggie's shoe in the air.

Terribly, it's been a bad sports day.

Completly agree, but I have DirecTV but the point still remains the same.

As did I. So really if USC losses, Oregon will be the main team getting screwed?

Leinart is 12-19 for 84 yards? Fresno's defense must really be confusing him.

The worse Leinart plays the more likely his teammate Bush wins the Heisman. If he plays well Vince Young will win the Heisman thanks to the split ballot principle.

It seems so.

Kind of sucks to be a Duck fan right now. They're going to be passed over for a BCS game for little more than the fact that ND and OSU have more fans.

Speaking of Ohio State, that celebration call for diving into the end zone was a complete joke and helped give Michigan the ball at the 48 to start the next drive. They really need to get rid of that rule next year if the refs can't apply it correctly and fairly (which they obviously can't).
