OTHER GOOD TOP 25 GAMES

----------------------------------

(5) Penn St. @ Michigan St.

I'd call this a big game, since the outcome determines the winner of the Big Ten... there's certainly more on the line than OU-TT, for example.

It's rivalry week:

Purdue at Indiana

Utah at BYU

Oregon State at #10 Oregon

#8 Alabama at #11 Auburn

Washington State at Washington

Michigan State has been pretty awful the past couple of weeks. PSU is going to kill them.

It's too bad football season is almost over. My favorite time of year...yes, even more than Cubs season.

ND should beat Syracuse by at least 3 touchdowns.

Ball State will try to end the season on a 4-game winning streak when Central Michigan comes to town. The Cards can also finish in 2nd in the division, which would be a great accomplishment after starting 1-6.

Michigan State is legendary for not showing up when they have something to play for, but playing out of their butts when the opponent has something big to play for. They've been doing it for over 30 years... there's a reason the line on the game is only a TD for PSU. I

I know, but I didn't want to be killed for showing PSU bias.

Sadly, if PSU loses, there is no way they can win the conference. It's win at East Lansing or hello Holliday Bowl

It is rivalry week? Who is ND playing?

Oh, Cuse. I don't think it is rivalry week then. ND and their fans determines who are rivals. Of course, if they determine that Cuse is a rival then, rivalry week is back on.

Just 3 touchdowns? Watching our offense is like Baker puting Macias and Perez at the top of the order for a whole season. We have an average TB and TE and the rest of the offense is far below average. You guys should win 45-0 without breaking much of a sweat.

It used to be a pretty big one....or at least a controversal one. We had ND beat in the 50 or 60's and the officials called a mysterious roughing the kicker call on one of our guys after a ND missed kick. They rekicked and made it and we lost. Add to that 2 undeserving ND Players that won Heismans over more deserving Syracuse players and maybe they would have had one.

We're going in the right direction but it'll be awhile. After Pasqualoni recruited gems that would have otherwise went to football powers Northeastern or Hofstra we have a very empty cupboard. Oh yeah, we have a guy that was a second string QB in CANADA that he gave a scholarship to.

At least we crushed ND a couple of years ago.

heretic.

KU vs. ISU. If KU wins, we're bowl eligible.

Please lose. Of course, the other two dominoes will already have to be in place since that game is on the 26th, but please lose anyway.

There's no way PSU goes to the Holiday Bowl... that game pits a Pac 10 team vs a Big 12 team. If PSU loses to Moo it likely goes to the Capital One Bowl - against the #2 team in the SEC (3 years ago it was Auburn). Very good bowl game, and the richest bowl of the non-BCS games, but obviously not what we're hoping for at this point. There's also the possibility that, if Michigan wins and goes to the BCS, that O$U could go to the C1 Bowl and send PSU to the Outback Bowl against the 3rd place team from the SEC East.

What are you talking about? It is rivalry week. Does that mean every single team plays a rival? Also perhaps you can tell me who determines rivals if it is not the fans or schools.

can we go one day w/o the Notre Dame vs. Everyone Else fighting?

No fun.

I heard Penn St. cheats and uses 13 players when they play but the refs let them off cause they're related to Paterno.

I think the game you are refering to was in '61.

And in 2003 the Orangmen embarassed the Irish 38-12 in the last game, keeping the Irish from finishing .500.

Awesome huh? If FSU wins the ACC some team is going to get really screwed out of a spot they deserve. Didn't FSU go to a BCS game a few years ago with a 7-4 record?

Question: Does every team have the same requirements as ND? The reason I ask is because if scUM beats O$U, they could very well be in the BCS top twelve with 8 wins, not the 9 required for ND.
