Non-contact must be Cole telling them he thought it went out before the hit if this report is accurate because there certainly was contact

It looked like he winced when his foot planted right before the hit.  It wouldn't surprise me if it was a patella tendon or something along those lines since there wasn't any sideways movement.

Also the Green Bay sucks chant is a terrible look during post game. If we play them again and beat them, fine, do it then. But not every week please.

I watched that and wanted to crawl under my couch. Please god make them stop.

Watching the slow-mo replay of the pass to Rome made it even more impressive. Just a ridiculous throw to get it close to Rome and Odunze made a spectacular grab.

It was desperation time. You can’t call it luck because Caleb he does this. A real back-breaker for a defense that 95% of the time gets a big stop.

When he makes the first plant with his right leg in the replay, there is a weird movement in the muscles/area around the knee kind of like when someone tears their achilles and you see their calf ripple like something exploded inside their body.

No luck at all. Anyone who thinks that is either a Patriot fan or a Fudge Packer fan.

I just don't see how you can throw Roush right into that. I would definitely trade for somebody.

I have serious doubts they trade for a TE. They need a corner and an end more than a #2 TE. Doesn’t mean they won’t bring someone in. I just don’t see a trade. Maybe Roush steps up too. Even so, bringing someone in makes sense anyway.

Yeah, the Bears have two TE's on the IR and two on the practice squad.  Hayden Large is the only name I recognize out of them though, honestly.

I don’t like the idea of spending any more resources on new tight ends. Roush sucked in his debut and probably got coached up quite a bit since then. He was drafted where he was for a reason and should be utilized now.

I am unreasonably annoyed at the Bears schedule this season. They just had a 4 day turnaround, now they have two 10+ day breaks between games over the next 3 weeks, and then they have a 4 day turnaround again to play Thanksgiving against Detroit.

I know this is going to come across as callous but we're talking about a guy who's mostly been a good blocking tight end the last couple years. I think they'll be fine.

If there's some kind of trade out there for a meaningful D-End or Corner, I'd kick the tires on it, but other than that, we're rolling with what we got

Ben is very weird that he doesn’t really like to disclose what the actual injuries are. That just results in more media speculation.

My rule is if it's non-contact, it's probably very serious and likely season ending.  Kmet' was most definitely non-contact, shortly after catching the ball, something popped in his right knee and he started heading to the ground.

Many here have dismissed Roush, while not Kmet, I'll bet he'll be able to adequately fill in.

Ben said it was a serious knee injury that will knock Kmet out for the season, but he won’t say what it exactly was.

Okay, I get it.

If Kmet is out, that just means more Roush and that is very scary

I was trying to think who they could get on the cheap for TE2 and the best option who has been in BJ's offense is Smythe, but he is on Baltimore so he is unlikely to be gotten.  Another option would be Brock Wright, but he is still with the Lions so that would not be likely either.
