Only guy thatll probably be back that they traded for is the guy who only pitched 1 game for them, Garrett

There’s our daily home run!

[abuck1220]

their 4th best reliever came in in the 4th inning and was untouchable. our best reliever came in in the 4th inning and gave up a 600 foot hr.

Gotta love whataboutism

As much as irrationally blaming one person for this shitshow.

I know Sheets was a pinch hitter but really weird for Palencia to come in for a LRL stretch with the righty being an obvious PH option

[ILMindState]

Bed time

[We Got The Whole 9]

Not even a meatball and he destroyed it. Our performance against fastballs in this series has been a total joke.

[Hortonhearsawho]

Least shocking thing ever. See ya in the off-season.

[UMFan83]

Jed should be ashamed that this is the pitching staff he brought to a postseason series.  I get that there have been injuries and bad luck but pathetic

[JHBulls]

Well, it’s going to be a fun wait until next June to watch the next Cubs game after tonight.

[Irrelevant Dude]

The Padres pull the trigger with the pinch hitter and it pays off.

Counsell sticks with Shaw and pays the price.

It’s kind of crazy how the flaws that worried us in the playoffs all season were exactly the reason for our downfall.  Home run ball, bad starting pitching, horrific pen, streaky offense

[ToolDRT]

Feels like 2007/2008 all over again.

[cl smooth]

Christ, it’s only the 5th inning

In Jed's frantic search for out-getters in the pen he kicked Adam, Estrada,  & MeGill to the curb

[abuck1220]
