You’re probably right. But PTR said in ST that goal is winning the division.

then he should fire the guy that built the team that lost the division by 13 games to a team with half its payroll.

I want to hear Counsell explain these challenges,  Especially HIS.

His challenge wasn't as big of a deal though.  It was bad and unnecessary, but it doesn't really impact the game like running out of ABS challenges does.

imagine how much better the cubs would be if busch (and nico) didn’t fall off a cliff

Busch was so good last year and had 4 postseason homers.

It would be foolish of me to think the runner on second will score

Does any manager look more uncomfortable in the dugout than Counsell when things aren't going well?

Because he knows hes getting closer to going to the bullpen and his bats aren't getting anything going

[Stratos]

It happened.

[cl smooth]

Nico!

[SparkMark1]

What.... what was that

[JBears79]

A hit with RISP!

[ILMindState]

What does that number next to the Cubs logo mean?

[We Got The Whole 9]

Good AB Nico!

[Derwood]

Bobblehead did something useful?

[cl smooth]

Nico with at least one hit in his first 10 playoff games for the cubs.

[mk49]

Nico and Seiya have been the best hitter so far.

[abuck1220]

can’t believe padres didn’t go to the bullpen of doom before the nico ab

[Rex Buckingham]

We have life!

‘How good could this dude be he’s like the 4th best reliever in the pen’

*looks at stats, sighs dejectedly*

I would be tempted to go Conforto here.  It's early, but I have no faith in Shaw doing anything productive.

Exactly. It didn’t hurt anything

Don't agree. That was a monster PA last time and that puts him in the top 5 of Cubs PAs in this series

[abuck1220]

that’s some man vs boy horsefeathers right there
