The outcome of the game is immaterial to me, of course, if given a choice, I'd pick the Cubs winning.  Nevertheless, for f***k's sake be competitive and not piss down your collective legs again tonight Cubs.

I’m thinking the Cubs win in a very wild way.  Let’s go.

The Padres bullpen implodes and, Shota gets the save, striking out Tatis on challenged ball with the tying run at 3B?

Should PCA and Bregman go up tonight hunting breaking balls?

Pivetta is normally extremely heavy on fastball, 52% 4-Seam and 13% Cutter. But after last night, who knows, maybe he'll change things up

Cubs didn't come prepared last night to hit the fastball

They also didn't come prepared to hit the breaking ball

Or the change up

I feel like Amaya had been squaring the ball up really well down the stretch.  Was hoping he might get the start tonight.

Im jealous of thw white sox bullpen. Just pumping velocity.

How crazy to be WC3 and playing a worse team in their stadium. I’m glad they won. It’s an abomination for a .500 club to be in playoffs. It would have been even worse for that team to advance.

I feel like if the Cubs score it will come in bunches and they’ll put up 10.  Otherwise they’ll score like 1 run.

Counterpoint: Beast Quake

(Seattle was 7-9 when they made the 2010/2011 playoffs).

Maybe one day Jed will join the 21st century on bullpen building instead of dumpster diving.  Maybe.

I have no feelings about this game. In fact tonight does not feel like the playoffs, it feels like a mid July game.
