If we lose the 2nd game tonight and the Padres win, they clinch HFA right?  At that point we have nothing to play for, send a skeleton crew to Tampa and send everyone else to San Diego (which will make it really confusing when the Phillies sweep and we end up having to play in Atlanta).

1-3 this week vs two teams with nothing to play for (including boston barely trying today), scoring 2, 2, 2 and 3 runs with home field advantage at stake.

needless to say, they don't deserve a home playoff series. absolutely pathetic week of baseball.

I prefer going to Atlanta given our history against them this year. I think we can hit their pitching and I think we match up better overall. Maybe that is why Anthony Rizzo suggested the Cubs tank to get a shot at Atlanta versus the other ones that are hot right now.

If we go 2-0 and Padres 1-2, we play in Chicago.  

If we go 2-0, the Padres 2-1, we play in San Diego

If we go 1-1, and the Padres 0-3, we play in Chicago otherwise San Diego unless the Phillies sweep this weekend, then we play in Atlanta

If we go 0-2, the Phillies just need to go 2-1 to pass the Cubs and force us to Atlanta.

No but they'll probably in the afternoon on a workday which I can't stand.

Red Sox-Yankees will obviously get the 6pm games, and San Diego will get the late games.  Then the Cubs will either play at 1 or 3pm
