At this moment, I'd go with Shota, Boyd and Peterson.  Any one of them could pitch well enough.  At the same time, any one of them could suck.

I think the issue is they don’t have any sure fire #1 starter. They probably have 5 #3 starters, as long as they are pitching with the Cubs defense backing them up. Which is why it is hard to say who pitches.

They have options but theres no set 2 guys that you're saying will definitely get the ball, theyre just, who do we think gives them the better chance to win.

Last year you knew for sure game 1 was Boyd and Imanaga was game 2, that the difference. 

Playoff teams usually know who getting the ball for game 1 and 2, not options

My point wasn't who you'd go with, but its pretty wild that they dont have that guy or two guys you know youre handing the ball to, not who you think is best.

You knew, I guess, because everyone else sucked more. This year they have 5 guys who all can pitch well. They are far better off this year than last year. And, I don’t really think we “KNEW” Boyd would go on 3 days rest and Imanaga would go at all, considering how bad he was leading up to the playoffs.
