Boyd tomorrow?

Looks like theyre holding Holmes for the Brewers on Monday,  theyll have Holmes, Gausman, and Imanaga lined up for Milwaukee

I think the last spot will be Peterson, than Imanaga on Friday.
ESPN doesn’t even list Holmes until Friday. That is not possible. Unless he is hurt🤷 I think they just forgot Holmes. I think Milw will be Boyd or Holmes, then Peterson, Gausman.
Whoever goes tomorrow between Boyd and Holmes, the other guy will go Monday.

Why go with Shota against the Brewers?  It's a particularly bad match up for Shota.  Doesn't make sense to keep throwing him to the wolves.

That's got to be it, Shota starting against the Brewers is some bad managing on Craig' part.

Just going with the 5 days, and skipping both Boyd and Peterson against Milwaukee.

Shota gonna be a starter in the playoffs,  he needs to prove now he can get it done against a playoff team.

Theyre not catching Milwaukee, now its about getting through the last couple weeks with getting guys ready that will be in your playoff rotation, and get them that extra day of rest when you can.

Holmes, Gausman, Imanaga,  and Boyd/Peterson/Assad are likely their playoff starters.

They can go with, Assad, Boyd, Peterson against Pittsburgh and come back with Holmes, Gausman,  and Imanaga with extra rest against Atlanta

Are we really doing per opponent stats

Come on, the Brewers are really bad match up for Shota.  Haven't the Cubs lost enough to those fucks?  Why make it easier?

The brewers have a 97 wRC against LHP, which is 13th in baseball. They’re the best team in baseball and we’re playing at their park. It’s probably going to be tough, regardless. Are there specific reasons why Shota is specifically bad against them or is this just small sample size recollections?

Squally is a whiner. Just ignore him. He bitches about everything.

Shouldn’t the Brewers theoretically be a good matchup for Shota? He does a good job of limiting walks and hits, but struggles at avoiding homers. The Brewers are the worst team in the league at hitting homers.

Could they go with Rea on Sunday to set up the Brewers how they want?

You don't need Rea.  Probably, it'll be like this.

Miami
9/5: Assad
9/6: Hlomes

Milwaukee
9/7: Boyd
9/8: Peterson
9/9: Gausman

Pittsburgh
9/11: Shota
9/12: Holmes
9/13: Boyd
