Fact of the matter is that Cabrera hasn’t pitched well enough at any point this year to supplant Assad or Peterson from the rotation. Would love to see some common sense play a part in decision making by Hoyer and CC.

You're right, but likely in their thinking,  hes the guy they traded for in offseason to be that guy for them in the rotation,  so they have to give him another opportunity here.

Who gives a rats ass? He has been a large net negative for the team this year when he has pitched. Are you in a playoff race or not? That is the real question.
