I'm tire of this rollercoaster, Cubs.

Yea was just telling my brother, its like every other week we get a handful of games where they just look pathetic.

Hes like everytime you think theyre about to really go off and make a run at Milwaukee they trip over themselves

I’d feel better if it didnt feel like the offense was on the verge of going into another 6 week tailspin.  It’s only been a few games so too early to say that’s what’s happening but since we’ve seen it several times the last few seasons you’re always sort of bracing for it. The offense definitely looks different when PCA is slumping which even with the HR today is what he’s doing.

I know never say never in baseball but with our staff, I just can’t see us making it past the NLDS.

We’ll either face Philly in the WC round and their pitchers will eliminate us. Or we’ll get SD/Ari, maybe advance and then lose to Mil/LAD/Atl.

update the stats for when Carson pitches to Amaya.

I don't remember who was catching, when the last time Carson pitched.😁  Either Miggy or Mo.😁

I don't know why Miggy started 2 days in a row, with Shota pitching tomorrow, though.

Dodgers are going to be 5-10 in their last 15 games, and lose the season series tiebreaker with Milwaukee. They have a 3 game set in Atlanta a week from now, and a 3 game series vs San Diego in the last week of the season. Other than that, they don't have a series left against playoff teams.

Also, Kyle Tucker is like 5 for his last 53 inside Dodger Stadium.

Cabrera has given up 24 ER in his last 5 starts and has a 9.82 ERA over that span.  Today wasn't even the worst start over that stretch lol

Both times Kelly has pitched have been because of him

Shut him down for the season

Must be a joke.  Are we getting Assad back now?  Cabrera's ERA must be over 6.50, if you exclude the first 2 games.

Unless the Cubs have given up on the division, he shouldn’t get another start

6.08 (not including first 2 starts) coming into today. For a -0.8 bWAR

2 years left with Cabrera...

They have 3 options with him this offseason for 2027.

Obviously Work with him and get him ready to be better in 2027 as a SP.

Maybe they could turn him into a late inning reliever setup/closer.

Trade him for a starting position player/Outfielder..

🤷🤷🤷
