Good , no drama from Webb. Need to keep putting big numbers on offense for obvious reasons. Series w , nice  job . With that said , a sweep wouldn’t hurt

I do not give a horsefeathers that they came back to make it a 2 run game.

This team does not give a flying horsefeathers if they lose. That's it. Period.

Their supposed best player is whatever the horsefeathers the opposite of clutch is, the bullpen is apathetic, and the manager couldn't lead a panty raid.

Trade everything not bolted down and reset in 2028 after the greedy player vs. greedier owner wars of next year.

If they're gonna lose at least do it with players you expect to be ******.

Thielbar gave up 5 HR last year in 58 innings, already 7 this year in 25

Yeah man - I’ve always been a fan of Thielbar, but he’s a huge liability this season.

I'm pretty sure I just yelled at that guy that trading Matt Boyd would be incredibly stupid.

I'm curious if this was Rea's last outing in the rotation.  Taillon’s slated to return the first turn through after the break.  Assad and Rea aren't that different from each other true talent wise, but Assad is pitching much better than Rea lately (even if he's not actually pitching well).

Thought this was interesting…PCA started his second half slide almost immediately after game 92, a game where he hit 2 HR to get to 25 HR on the season. After that he hit 3 HR in his next 52.  Not saying this as a negative as I think there are things PCA has added to his game to limit a slump as bad as he had for much of the second half. I point it out because we can compare his hot starts for each season at the 92 game mark.

2025:  .271/.309/.560/.869, 25 HR, 70 RBI, 50 XBH, 18 BB, 90 K (389 PA)

2026: .296/.386/.542/.928, 21 HR, 52 RBI, 39 XBH, 42 BB, 102 K (400 PA)

He face planted after August 1st. He hit a speed bump versus the Yankees but picked up where he left off until that Saturday against Baltimore.

Conforto has been such an underrated signing.

A little concerning that the pitching staff has allowed 5 or more runs in 5 of their last 14 wins

Same. Id be shocked if he doesn't pass 60 war because his floor is ridiculous and I expect him to hit around 120 wRC+, at least.

11 war over his last 232 games with a 132 wRC+. Arbitrary end points or not, that’s over 1.4 seasons of games.

I mean

He's currently on a 4 win pace for July - .9 war in just 6 games, 309 wRC+.

I like to start at 4/28, from which he has a 190 over 280 PA

Since 5/23 he has a 220 over 190 PA

He is wiping the floor with the rest of the position players and is going to blow past 10, could threaten 12 war.

Stunning levels of excellence.

Please. He can’t even bat 300 and is on pace for less than 100 RBIs.

Said man from 1970😅
I know you are joking. So am I.
