Good night for Busch and PCA, glad to see it

Seiya and Bregman, too.

So much good in this win. Seiya and Busch go deep. PCA and Bregman get 3 hits. Ben Beown looked great. Even Boyd wasn’t bad. How about the no name pen? Best win of the year to ease some fans concerns.

Had to chuckle at the challenge,  I was just thinking can you imagine the anticipation for that for a final out in a playoff or world series clincher 😅

If it were a close game they would have challenged that 3-0 on Mo, right? I wonder if that's the most egregious call that didn't get challenged when a team had a challenge left in the league this year.

Dansby's first strike the inning before was basically as bad. Some jarring misses for a game in 2026.

Yes, mentioned those two cause they've been struggling the most lately

Yeah, I mentioned Seiya and Breggy, because I've been thinking they could hit better, and they did today.

Amaya is in a slump now and nobody is noticing. Hopefully he can jump out of it.

I did.  I just told my brother Miggy had been cold lately.  He'll get better.

I've been very impressed by Corbin Martin.  He's not pitched incredibly well, but he's come into some pretty tough spots (medium leverage but the tough part of the batting order) and kept things under control.

I feel like we've had a lot of these reclamation type arms come in and pad their stats during garbage time and wilt as soon as they come into a game with any drama (Colten Brewer the most egregious example IMO).  I don't know that Martin has the stuff for more than middle relief but I appreciate his seemingly steady heartrate.

I was surprised to learn he was a top-100 prospect once upon a time (pre-2019).

Outside of Busch still struggling to pull the ball with authority, yes. Suzuki’s timing is back which is encouraging.

We’re only 24 games in but I see similarities with this offense and the 2008 team with better defense. Hopefully the season ends on a higher note.

Regarding Bregman's "triple"...... It hit above the basket, did it not? So if it deposits in the basket, it's a HR, but if it finds it's way back to the field of play, it isn't? I know there is a yellow line there, also, but I'm failing to understand why that wasn't ruled a HR.

Isn’t the yellow line just an extension of the basket?

Ben Brown has 19 innings in 24 team games, which prorates out to almost 130 over a full season.

I REALLY like having a leverage-y long reliever.
