Mike Trout’s loyalty needs to be studied.

He always looks like he's having the time of his life out there.

So…….our Clean up hitter bunts in almost all situations now? Why have him batting in that slot? Make it make sense

What a lifeless offensive performance.

Out four hitter is in full bunt mode in nearly every at bat, and I agree - lifeless tonight. Pitching did their job. Well done to Taillon and Brown. Other than that, it was rough to watch. Reset for tomorrow

Obviously theres the early season Wrigley factor but the lineup looks just as poor as it did from June-September last season. I expected a loss tonight but that was purely expecting Taillon to blow up.

What a terrible game by the bats...

Conforto is a useless addition to this team as I said all along, might as well give Carlson a shot at this point.

I don't want to see Conforto again.  It's not his fault.  The Cubs offense wasn't there whole night, but Conforto just looks really bad.

Conforto is in his head. Watched two meatballs before swinging at a pitch out of the zone. He's a head case

Before the terrible conditions tonight the Cubs had scored 21 runs in four games. They were averaging 5 runs a game (plus some). Yeah, bummer they ran into a Jose Soriano and his 98mph sinker on a night like tonight, but they have hit the ball extremely well up to that point.

It sure seems like our bench seems to suck every year, doesn’t it?

Once upon a time Tommy LaStella was sent down to Iowa. Not because of performance but because they traded for Chris Coghlan.
