I don't know how it goes.  Bregman, Jamo, Seiya and Amaya will play in WBC.  Only PCA is missing?

Murray and Long are on teams too.  Like you said PCA's not in but otherwise this is about as WBC-full as they can get.

Called xfinity, they reset the channels,  it was all my sports channels, and the guy gave me upgrades and a discount of 30 bucks a month for next 2 years...😀

Four walks by Hodge in the same inning.  He could get only one out.  Ouch.

Seiya should've caught the fly ball, though.

Just watched the Jed Hoyer interview in the booth with Jim D. and Jon S.  Boy is Jed Hoyer clueless.

The first questions were about Bregman.  Hoyer said Bregman’s reputation and his ability to fit in with the team were his two strong points. I’m not making this up.  Go listen to it if you don’t believe me

I am sorry Jed, but Bregman has a reputation as a cheater, a guy who participated in the Houston sign stealing scandal for 1-3 years (2017-19).  Those years 2017-19, mind you, were Bregman’s best performances.  In response to a question about their cheating, former Cub, Cody Bellinger, said: of course they cheated then; why would they stop when they got to the World Series?”  Bellinger also accused Altuve of stealing Judges MVP.

Bregman does NOT fit in well with the Northsiders. The Cubs have always had a reputation for playing fairly and honestly.  Bregman belongs back in Boston with Cora or in Houston with Altuve and Corea.

You are on an island here. And very wrong. Bregman is one of the most respected players I. The game. Maybe instead of this stupid rant you are on about him, listen to what players, coaches and other baseball personalities say about him. Seems you are the junky one that can get past something that happened 7 years ago. Honestly, do you even pay attention to any of the Cub players being asked about Bregman. They all love the guy. Get over it. The only one who is clueless here is you.

Part of me agrees with you - I hated the cheating asterisks, but Bregman seems to be pretty universally revered for his leadership/character. The Cubs wouldn't have won the world series if they hadn't traded for the POS domestic abuser Chapman so they aren't better than other teams.

You are the one who is clueless.  Baseball players rarely, if ever, say anything negative about their fellow players.  If they did, they’d be traded, released, or sent to the minors.

They keep their thoughts to themselves.  No doubt, Bregman’s cheating is in everyone’s mind.  Nobody respects any of those Houston players.

I'm not saying the players don't love him - I have no idea - but I don't think you take can their quotes as proof.  It's not like any of them are going to come out and say "Bregman?  Yeah, that guy's a big old dooshnozzle"

I would rather Bregman be in the team than Shaw. How do you feel about Shaw and his beliefs. And, while players wouldn’t say anything against their teammates they would propt them up unless they meant it. Bregman was cited the guy who will be most missed by his previous team because of what a great guy he is and how he takes time with every player to help them. The pole suggested the Red Aox young players will greatly miss him.

The Red Sox manager, Alex Cora, was one of the cheaters too. As a Houston Coach, he led the cheating pack.  Do you think he’d enjoy his present players trashing Bregman?  I’m sure no reliable poll was taken.

Stop watching the team if it bothers you so much.

His average velo last year was 92 exactly, not sure what we were expecting on February 20.

I don't worry about Jamo much.  He had a HR problem earlier last year, almost as bad as Shota, and the same thing happened today.  Somehow, he solved the problem later in the season.
