Same guy who changed his tune on his leg injury after talking to the media. I hope Bryant is OK, but Rome is not the one I want reassurances from.

Not great but, could be worse I guess.

EDIT: that puts him back around week 4 to week 6.

It horsefeathers sucks, I can't sugarcoat it. He will be way behind in learning and playing within the system and probably take a couple weeks to get the conditioning. Might get half of an effective season from him. What a bummer.

Yeah I agree, even though he participated on OTAs and the first week or so of camp this will set him back a bit.  Even if Week 2 is an optimistic return date, its very possible the Bears put him on IR to open up an extra roster spot to start the year, not wanting to rely on the most optimistic time table.  And then yeah even playing he's probably not going to be playing 100% of the snaps and will be behind on getting up to speed and building chemistry with the team.  It's not the worst case scenario though, just have to hope the offense can play well out of the gate and bank a couple wins.
