So Walker has to be MVP right? I mean, it's the Seattle defense but they don't give the MVP to an entire unit. Darnold was fine (19-38, 202, 1 TD, no turnovers). Leading receiver is 6-61 but no TDs. Kicker made 5 FGs but the longest one was 41 yards so it's not like he's drilling 55 yarders out there.

Walker is at 157 total yards but no TDs.

Pretty solid crockpotting by Seattle. Took a while to fully come together but at the end, we have a really, really nice New England blowout loss.

I could see Witherspoon if you can give it to a defensive player, 2 FF, 2 sacks, 4 QB hits.

Yeah, that's a good one. I could see him getting it.

I don’t think they’ll give it to a kicker.  I would think it’s Walker.

I’m loving the misery vibes coming from Vikings fans right now.

Picking on Viking fans is like picking on lions fans; they know they have it coming

I think I would have split my MVP vote between Walker and Witherspoon.

Bad Bunny was not my cup of tea, but could not see what all the outrage was about.

Not sure why Vikings fans are fretting about Darnold. Their defense is not as good as Seattle's and Darnold was only marginally better than Maye

The Jets fans bemoaning Darnold have been similarly delightful.

Part of me will never forgive Darnold for dropping 52 points on Penn State in the 2017 Rose Bowl, but cool that he didn't burn out like so many other first round picks

Because they picked a guy who was one of the worst QB's in the league this year (albeit, in his first year starting) over a guy who threw for 4000 yards each of the past two seasons and is only 28.

For the Jets, Darnold is proof their organization is poison for good players.  For the Vikings Darnold represents an opportunity to build a champion team, willfully thrown into the toilet in favor of a project.

The Vikings went 9-8 despite horrible quarterback play and went from an offense that ranked 9th in yards with Darnold to 25th with 10 games of injury prone McCarthy, Wentz and Brosmer.

They should be upset, they’d be division champs with a capable quarterback like Darnold.

Even funnier is apparently Trump posted on Truth Social that the Super Bowl halftime show was brutal, which means he watched it instead of the alternative show.

I never understood how the Vikings just let him walk after that historic season. My best friend is a Vikings fan, and his claim is they couldn't afford him due to the cap. My argument would be that you make room in the cap to afford him. The Chiefs haven't been able to afford Mahomes for the last 3+ years and he's still their QB.

Trump definitely didn't actually write that post though.

Yeah that’s not passing the smell test.  Teams figure it out all the time.  They reached for JJ and made it worse by doubling down after getting lucky finding Darnold.

It’s worth noting JJ isn’t 100% a bust yet.  Who knows maybe a light bulb goes off and he becomes serviceable.  It could happen.  Before he suffered the injury he was playing better.

Super Bowl LXI is on Valentines Day next year and there is a decent chance the Bears could be in it. Be extra good to your significant others over the next 370 days to make up for 2/14/27

Is just me or is Patriots receiver room not very good?  The blocking difficulties not withstanding, I think a big part of Maye' problem last night was the lack of quality receivers.  Looking at the statistics, Diggs had a big year, playoffs, against better competition, not so good.
