The Panthers were swept by the Saints this season.

They are also still tied for a playoff spot in the NFC South.

Obviously a huge break for the Bears, but I don't feel good about it at all.  It sucks to see stars go down with severe injuries.

The Saints have 4 wins and 3 of them are over the two teams tied atop the division.

I'm starting to wish Carolina had just sucked again. Having being a playoff team, even one that's destined to get crushed by some NFC West wild card, being repeatedly yanked away when it's been forever since the team wasn't a joke is cruel.

Any Packer fan I talked to was happy about that too, at least initially. The truth is, if Caleb blew out his knee they’d be OK with it.

Not that I want to rely on that, it’s nice to know that no matter what, the Bears will have something to play for in week 18

Was taken to local hospital for chest injury, but was on flight home with team. 

RT Zach Tom went out with knee injury in 2Q and did not return.

SS Evan Williams left game in 2nd half with knee injury and did not return.

And of course, Parsons is probably done for the season.

Costly loss in the standings, and for the roster.

Brutal. I thought it might have been Watson's clavicle on replay. His landing arm seemed like it landed directly on his elbow and then all of his weight (and the defender) came down on his elbow. Frozen ground doesn't give much.

I'm not liking Rome's chances of suiting up this Saturday if he reaggravated his foot injury in pregame warmups. It's not a game I'd like for Rome to miss, but at least we started seeing Caleb target DJ a bit more yesterday.

I was surprised how many chances Sean Payton took with his offense yesterday. He did an early 4th and 8 at a position on the field that seemed insane, but they connected on a pass play for about 20 yards. Ballsy.

I'm more concerned about Burden hopefully, he'll be good to go by Saturday.  Just leave Rome on the shelf preparing for the playoffs.
