Bears have clinched, I really hope the Lions game is a win and in for them.  Bears beat the Lions and karma comes to bite Campbell in the ass after running up the score on the Bears.

Alright Bears fans, what do you root for (if I have this right):

Bears beat Niners, Ravens beat Packers, Lions beat Vikings, Panthers beat Seahawks  I believe this would leave a scenario where if the Bears beat the Lions, they’d get the 1 seed but it would also mean the Packers make the playoffs. Let’s say you know the Packers lose to the Vikings in Week 18, do you root for the Bears to get the 1 seed or the Bears to get the 2 seed but the Packers are out.

Its basically Packers or Lions in the playoffs and most likely vs Bears in the 1st round

Bears 1 seed, no question. The choice is effectively "Do you want the Bears to get a bye or do you want the Bears to play an extra playoff game against a team they just lost to?"

Poor Detroit fans. Their sufferings are worse than ours, and really the only people who should get this kind of torture from the refs are the Packers.

i would love any playoff scenario that doesn’t involve playing an NFC North rival in the first round of the playoffs. Can we get that? Because I can’t survive another 2010 style meeting.

If I’m a Lions fan I definitely would hear “ the ruling on the field is a touchdown” and the penalty is not enforced and the game is over.

It was horribly worded but you can’t expect much from refs these days.

Even if that’s not PI, which it probably was, forward progress was stopped so there’s no way that should be a TD. Guy got dragged back 4 yards.

Refs probably swallow their whistles in crucial plays like that so they can review the play rather than whistling it dead with no chance of overturning it

No clue what the issue was with the officials on that play. If it was OPI, you enforce the penalty and it's game over. Pretty simple. I assumed they were going to call DPI, which then creates a confusing situation of how to rule the end of that play. If it was OPI, what the hell were they confused about? Games not ending on a penalty is only on defensive penalties.

I don't blame Metcalf from taking offense, I do blame him, most especially during the game, for horsefeathers around with the fans in the first place.  Just stay away.

Turns out it wasn't a punch...he grabbed the fan's shirt, and then let go demonstrably....but I don't think it was a punch.

DK Metcalf fan punch video has alternative angle from Steelers - Lions

EDIT: Apparently Metcalf had reported this fan to security during a Lions/Seahawks game last year already.

I like DK and love that his dad was a Bear, but man some people cannot block out stupid people. Why he even bothered to acknowledge that fan is crazy
