Ward had a miserable day. Makes 2024 Caleb look like peak Tom Brady.

Ward has been like rookie year Bryce Young awful so far.

So glad Carolina will be spinning the QB roulette wheel when there's again no consensus good player at that position

Sure seems like the past weeks indicate that the Lions are the best team in the north. Not sure how the Packers aren't blowing the Cowboys out.

Looks that way to me but lots of season left.

Just don't understand why Eberflus sits back in a zone and lets teams get easy completions.  The could have won the game, 4th and 6, shouldn't you bring some kind of pressure?

feeling pretty decent about the packers trading multiple first round picks to hand a top of the market contract to parsons rn

If Spotrac is accurate then the contract part of the equation is not really as bad as it sounds.

His cap % the next 3 years are 2025 3.57% - 2026 6.26% - 2027 7.95%

Something else to keep in mind per the link above, of the 136 M in guarantees

Quote

$120M guaranteed at signing (signing bonus + 2025 salary + 2026 compensation + $37.55M of 2027)

So in 2028 when his cap % goes to 11.38% his dead cap is only $17.6 M

In 2029 when it gets to 18.05% his dead cap is only $8.8 M

Also, I'm not sure if those cap % from 2026 on are based off this years cap # or if they included an estimated salary cap increase every year. So it is possible that those cap % could be some what lower.

The Packers defense was dominant in the first three games of the season. Last night, the defense sh!t the bed after the first quarter, but not because of Parsons. Per PFF, he earned an elite grade of 94.3 (season-high 10 pressures on 30 pass-rushing snaps). And as stated above, his contract is actually really, really good for one of the best defenders in the league who's just 26 years old.
