Guys we've cross the 4 run threshold in 4 consecutive games.

The last time the Cubs scored more than 4 runs in CONSECUTIVE games was July 26 and 27 vs the White Sox.

And homers from Suzuki, PCA, and solid contact from Tucker.   Timing is everything.  Good signs.

Starting pitching scores a decisive blow over offense in the battle for thing most concerned about in the playoffs.

Kittredge is making the 2026 option decision interesting.  Initially, I thought it was a foregone conclusion that the Cubs would let him walk and reload the bullpen again with cheaper options.  But I dont know now, is he actually worth the $9M?

I feel like every time we go from 'definitely not picking up the option' to 'hey, maybe we should pick up the option' the guy whose option gets picked up goes in the tank the next season

Yeah, what's up with the Cubs offense lately?  It's been pretty good.

Hopefully we face Jonah Tong and Miles Mikolas in the playoffs 😅
