Onward and upward, well at least the spread has moved upward as the Bears are 5.5 point dogs in motor city. The Lions are coming off a bad loss to GB, but the Packers didn’t exactly run roughshod over them, with less than 300 yards of offense. But they didn’t need to do much since the Johnsonless Detroit offense did nothing.

this is a get right game for both teams. A lot of times when things look their worst, the bears surprise with an upset win (or near win). I think 5.5 is a very covetable spread for this team. But they need defensive help and Caleb has to do much better.

They desperately need those DBs back.

Jaylen has to be close if he was warming up pregame last night right?

Don't know if this was mentioned but I saw the Eagles traded for Tank Bigsby.  The price was somewhat high (5th and 6th) but considering the Bears depth at RB is so low right now that DJ Moore was operating out of the backfield for several snaps last night, I would have liked to have made that move.

Don't care about the outcome of the game or the defense, all that matters is the above. I think we'll see flashes of brilliance and what Caleb will become mixed with less of the bad from yesterday.  It's going to to be gradual process,  baby steps.

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bears surprise and win this one. I am not high on the Lions and Dan Campbell without his best assistants. I’ve long said I think Campbell and coaches like him burn bright but short… that kind of high intensity coaching tends to wear thin pretty quickly

i also wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears look like ass and lose terribly and this is a Get Right game for the Lions

That is Richard Dreyfus. I finally got it, sharp as a marble I am, What About Bob?  Now, the gif above makes a hell of a lot more sense.

I've always thought he's a glorified meathead.  However, he did manage to find some excellent assistant coaches, we'll see if he can do so again.

Honestly, I actually kind of think of him like Ditka. Probably a perfect head coach as long as you have a good GM and coordinators. Not sure he can actually judge talent or make a good game plan. But I do think there is a lot of value in someone to be the front man and run the team on field

Bears signed Jake Moody to their practice squad.  Been kind of trash in the NFL (obviously since he was cut this week), but he's a big enough name that Santos should feel a little nervous.  He was so good in college, not sure why it didnt translate to the NFL.

I know a few of the major pirate streaming sites got cracked down this summer. Have any others popped up? I'm stuck with the Giants game on Fox today

Moody was let go for missing kicks week 1, but this is probably just symbolic to Santos since he’s signed through 2027 and Moody is significantly worse than Santos

Well, for me, here I'm again with the same nonsense - don't care about the defense or outcome of the game just want to see marked improvement from the QB and the offense.  This has been theme for at least 8 seasons and it's getting really tiresome.  I wanted Mitch and Justin to succeed but, they've mental hurdles they'll never overcome, I really hope it's not same story with Caleb.  I believe in Caleb and I do not believe he has the mental limitations of Mitch and Justin.  I figure he's got 6-7 games to clear up mistakes and start producing, don't think Ben will go the whole season watching the same mistakes.  He'll bench Caleb and turn to Tyson.

There are plenty. Streameast still has plenty of streams.

Crack streams isn't bad either.

He has not drafted a single player that became a Pro-Bowler. How did he get an extension? Because it’s the Bears.

My theory?

Kevin Warren thinks of himself as a mentor for Ryan poles, that stuff is really big in the black community. And I think it's something that's as simple as he just didn't want to give up on his mentee this early on. McCaskey probably ate that crap up because he's stupid and here we are.

Also, some reason unknown to God Ben Johnson thought it would be a good idea to tie himself to this turd. He must be pretty convincing behind closed doors.

Hyped up #1 overall pick that can’t hit deep balls, is widely inaccurate, can’t throw receivers open, holds onto the ball too long, and has questionable work ethic. These are serious issues that are instinctual for good QBs.

Is Warren mentoring Poles on how to mess up and delay a stadium project, cost your team hundreds of millions of dollars, and make incredibly weird social media videos?

I think he sympathetic towards a young guy who he feels is still learning on the job. And was too soft to cut him loose after 2 years when it was quite obvious outside of the Caleb Williams trade the guy's done basically nothing.

This is the NFL man. You can't have a GM who spends his first 3 Years Learning on the job...
