It’s a get right game for the Lions and they’re getting right.

best that can come from this season is to install a pro caliber offense and then fill holes in the off season.  Poles isn’t the right guy to do that though.

how do you get to week one with a crippled secondary?

Why?

I just re-watched it and I'm not sure.  There was only a fraction of a second between the receiver completing the catch and going out of bounds, so it would depend on whether he was actually touched during that specific time.  If he was touched before completing the catch, that doesn't count.  I can't really tell though.

He was clearly touched with the ball in his hand on the way down and landed in bounds. Pereira said as much.

I don’t get what happened.. was he touched in bounds? Why the 10 second run off?

If he was ruled out wouldn’t there be 16 seconds left?

Clock was stopped in error, then it was determined he was still in bounds.  That resulted in a 10 Second runoff from when the clock was stopped.

I don't think this is accurate. Clock wasn’t stopped. It kept running. But because the initial call by the ref was that he was out of bounds, and then it was determined he was in bounds, there was a ten second runoff from the moment the ref signaled out of bounds.

One catch combined through 6 quarters for burden and Loveland do I have that right

Loveland wasn’t the best TE on the board. Classic baffling Bears pick.  What a joke.

It's great the Bears went out and overspent on an over the hill DT and an underachieving DE.
