We need like 5 new arms and at least a bat

Ive been saying that for 2 months now. Our pitching staff is horrible. Jed continues to build a bullpen full of guys with no velocity.

Nothing really new there. He is the main reason (along with Hodge's health) that Hoyer needs to snag a reliever and soon

Hoyer has nothing but time.  No need to rush!

Ryan Pressly will either become an occasional opener or starting pitcher. He’s been worthless in every other inning he’s been tried in.

Lol

Another year getting dominated by the small market Brewers. Can't wait to get swept tomorrow.

I said last outing for Rea that they were just pressing their luck with Rea and it finally looking like it ran out.

Same with Pressly, he garbage and should never be brought into a close game.

I was told I was wrong about both 🤷‍♂️

Shame this team came to Milwaukee flat and looking like crap.

Maybe Counsell needs to go off on them in the clubhouse if there's no true leader amongst the players to light a fire under them.

He's awful these days. Most other guys would be DFA'd but I guess he's making too much money. Huge game tomorrow. Win and leave town down 1....no big panic. Lose and leave town down 3: no bueno.

I thought our pitching was bad but they pitched well enough to lull me into a false sense of security.  Don't get me wrong, I knew we needed multiple new arms but I was confident enough about how they performed to be caught off guard when they were suddenly terrible.

Tom is still recovering from the biblical losses of COVID-19. Take is easy on them

I have to wonder if Pressly is thinking about / worried about getting "Flexen"ed.  Is it possible that Pressly is being considered for a DFA or a throw-in on a trade?

Gimme a break....they aren't "in their head'' whatsoever. Just playing better baseball than the Cubs right now, and are the better team. Proof is in the pudding: no excuses. Good news is JH has a shot to make us better the next 48 hours. He needs to get to work.

Coached better? Probably? Actually Better? Arguably but not significantly better.

But it will be fun watching the Brewers leave the playoffs early again.

The Cubs are averaging 6.7 runs allowed in their last 9 games.  Guess we shouldn't be surprised they are 3-6 during that stretch.

It's not even a money thing. They are just a better organization, it's that simple.

Lost their top baseball man to the Mets and lost Counsell to the Cubs and they didn't skip a beat....lost their best player to the Giants in the off-season and are somehow better.

It's horsefeathers sickening but it's true, it's a better organization top to bottom.

Happy to hear how special Kyle Tucker is as a hitter. This team needs those special hitters. And now that Jed has been extended, it has pretty much assured us that Kyle Tucker will be on a different team next year.

No. First we’ve got to see if 4th, 3rd, 2nd, starter or opener are more his style.

I know it takes two to make a trade but Hoyer can not wait to the actual deadline day to improve this roster. I am expected a trade tomorrow.

I know that it's not an effort issue or whatever, but I really really wish they could have played better the last 2 nights for Ryno.  Just a gloomy depressing start to the week for the Cubs.

Just think what he can do when he spreads that Tucker money around on a few declining veterans.

If that makes you sleep better at night....have at it. They might exit early but they're on their way to another division championship and we'll be relegated to wildcard status: IF Jed can make a couple good moves. If not, we'll fade similarly to last season and miss the playoffs again. Clock is ticking.

I am still pissed at Bud Selig for being the Brewers to the NL.

I'm just tired of all things Wisconsin seeming having control over all thing Chicago.

It's sickening.

Those drunk turds own us.
