If a game is so far out of reach that one team is using position players to pitch, they call the game. No need for position players to pitch. So dumb.

Suarez, McMahaon and Bregman are probably all there for us. Bregman is a little more complicated due to that opt out clause.

Suarez is a perfect fit though. Get him and Kelley.

Meh, not sure why it's a big deal.  Rizzo striking out Freeman and Zobrist striking out Molina in his final MLB AB are treasured memories for me.

This article describes perfectly how I feel about getting Suarez.  The best move is getting Kelly + Suarez in a combined deal

It's more annoying than anything. I still think a mercy rule is preferable than position players pitching.

If Jed could add, say a Lugo and Cabrera/Acantara + RP, at the deadline, I believe the Cubs will bury the NL Central.  You can feel it coming.
