Best 7th inning stretch is still Bill Murray quaking it at the World Series. Takes some big balls to do.

I heard that one live.

Every time Nico hits the ball more than 20 feet above the ground, an angel loses its wings.

It's not even a matter of if Nico will ever hit a HR again, it's me in disbelief he ever hit one to begin with.

I was just looking back at Skenes' first MLB start against the Cubs and saw that Nico homered off him to give him his first MLB ER and I did a double take.

I know he's not hit great, but this is the kind of horsefeathers Turner does behind the scenes for why he won't get DFA'd.  I'll also say this: he'll probably manage at the MLB level at some point. He seems to really get the "culture" aspect of this whole thing,

Not sure what Pressly did to get the closer role back, but that clean appearance was only his 2nd in his last 12.

I think Craig just wanted Palencia to face the heart of the Pirates order, though looking at their individual OPSs there doesn't seem to be a huge difference in OPS for 2-3-4 and 5-6-7

Yeah I think it was certainly this.  The 8th was the higher leverage inning tonight.  Pressly's out of the doghouse but every indication is still that Palencia's the closer.  At least until Hodge is back, I'm curious to see who it is then.
