So yeah, the Rockies are still in town.

Marquez has been good in 2 of his last 3 starts. So don’t freak out if rhebCubs struggle to score. They may not, but if they do, remember he has pitched well against good teams this year.

Hope this is Horton's first dominant start. Love what I've seen so far from him. If I remember right, he was holding 97 into the 5th last start. Continue building that stamina. Loving his progress so far.

Happ (the hot streak is starting), Swanson and Tucker with favorable numbers vs. Marquez, plus a mashing Suzuki, I like the Cubs' chances tonight.

It's a 3 tv night (NBA, NHL, Cubs).

I only own 1.

My new basement set up.

In such scenarios I'll go Cubs, NHL commercial filler, NHL after Cubs' game and, if ongoing, NBA after NHL.

I absolutely like the Cubs chances tonight. I am just saying Marquez might not be terrible.

This is the correct order.

Cubs bullpen ERA down to 3.99 which is 7th out of 15 NL teams. Not great but better.

Honestly, I’ll take 7th of 15 for the rest of the season and not even complain.

Exactly. And if you take the 8 runs Pressley gave up without getting an out, out of the equation the pen would probably be top 4 in the NL. They have not been nearly as bad as many suggest they have been.

If the offense continues how its been for the first 1/3 of the season this team is fine

Plus very fun to watch. It's sooooo much more fun to watch a team that can hit than one that can't.

I might catch heat for saying this but I love Skyline Chili.

I mean you are obviously entitled to your own opinion so you won’t catch heat from me, but that chili sucks. Of course, that is just my opinion. 😬

I have a lot of great memories attached to Skyline. I stopped at one on November 3, 2016 on my way home, among other times. So a lot of nostalgia there for me. Plus, I just like it. 😄

Ewww, one bowl of it would be enough to put me out of commission.

It takes a lot more than Skyline to take me down.

Little bit of a bullpen crunch on our end. Palencia, Pomeranz, and Thielbar have all thrown the last two days, Brasier went Saturday and Sunday. Would guess in an ideal world they're all unavailable today, and those first three should probably get tomorrow off as well. Let's hope for some lopsided scores so that we don't have to worry too much about Kriske and Flexen eating some innings.
