The first half, Williams was let down by the team a bit

The second half, he just couldn't let go of the idea that he could scramble for 12 seconds and make a hero throw.

Burn the tape, gut the roster, come back next year

How can Poles possibly survive this?

He's got to be fired, who believes, if he isn't fired, he'll truly address the OL?  I mean really address it, both in FA and the draft.

What an embarrassment.  4 quarters of football where neither team was ever close to scoring a touchdown.  We are so far from being a competitive team.

The Bears defense was close to scoring, ok

He’ll address it by getting linemen who don’t swear and had great ACT scores

Do you think he even sees it's gross incompetence?  Where was Mr. Yale tonight?  Studying for the Bar?

I don't even know what the NBA is anymore where teams can score 50 points in a quarter.  I have tried watching a few games here and there and just can't do it anymore.

Absolutely.  They are terrible as well.  With the exception of the first drive where they ran the ball down the field, they did nothing on offense.

But they are a huge passing team

bears have some talent. Db, wr, qb are their best groups. Need lineman badly, both sides.

the middle lines, rb and lb, will fill in naturally

The biggest criticism I have of Caleb this year is he has to be more decisive when it's time to run. If nothing is there, take off and stop dancing around waiting for someone to get open.

Dancing is his game, a pass nets more yards almost everytime

hes done very very well. I think I said a few weeks ago 3400 yards, that looks like what he’ll be at. But that’s still pretty horsefeathers good.

he’ll be fine, get him some protection

Yes, all this crap about being so far from a competitive team, fixing the OL alone makes them competitive.

The coaching staff drilled it in his head all offseason to not run for his own safety

How many other teams have kickers who could have reasonably attempted that 58 yard game tying field goal rather than going for it on 4th and 10?  25 teams?  More than that?  How long are we going to stick with the noodle leg who is accurate from short and mid range?

The NBA sucks more than the Bears
