Let's try a fun little thing where we just don't let Logan O'Hoppe leave town?

Really wanted him when they were trading Robertson/Contreras a few seasons ago, was disappointed in the Brown trade. But that worked out pretty well

Agreed. He was someone I had stashed in my minor league system in my fantasy dynasty league at the time. Solid trade both ways actually since Marsh has been good.

No PCA again, hope that finger cut doesn’t mess with what seemed like the start of PCA crawling out of his funk

That was my immediate thought as well. Hoping he's back in there soon.

I'd be pretty shocked if he comes off after a minimum stay but good to see

Thought I read somewhere that it was like 50/50 to even put him on the IL vs letting him pitch through it so I suppose it doesn’t surprise me the stay might be minimum.

note: I could be mixing this with one of the other 500 pitching injuries we have

CC said when he went on the IL that he had been battling through it off and on for a couple weeks and they thought it was time to IL him and let him heal.

I think you might be right.  Him and Leiter both they really downplayed as "better safe than sorry", I just usually assume once they're on it'll take a little extra time to come off.

I look forward to the next 60+ games of Seiya in RF, with the token Belli start in right once a week to make us think that maybe Craig Counsell is paying attention.

Swanson may be currently worthless at the plate but, there's no doubt he's picked it up with glove.  Looking every bit the Gold Glove fielder of late.

Bellinger had 8 straight starts in RF before yesterday, it's clear that the only thing keeping him from there is if he needs to play CF.

This feels like an odd take considering Bellinger has been mostly playing RF lately and likely would be today if PCA hadn't sliced his finger

I don’t know if it’s more amazing that our catchers have a combined .465 OPS batting 176 or the fact the Whitesox have even worse numbers across the board.

It's crazy that all of a sudden the Cubs have Seiya with an .812 OPS, Busch with an .814 and Happ with an .805. I know it wont happen, but if you added Soto and a league average catcher to this lineup, it would actually be pretty good.
