That's his calling card. He is very patient at the plate and really patient about what/when to swing.

Never been a fan of Boog since ESPN, he's boring to me. I know I've been spoiled with Cubs announcers since Brickhouse in late 70s but IMO those are the type of PBP guys your local teams should have calling games, not some national TV guy that just likes to spew weird stats and boring conversations with whomever sitting next to him.
