Little surprised it’s the bottom of the third with Imanaga pitching and the Cubs up 4-0, we’re still only on page 2 (or top of page 3) of this gam thread.  I know it’s Sunday, but some people need to get their priorities straightened out.

I just looked this up and they temporarily changed the rule for the COVID season, but have since gone back to wiping out whatever happens if the game isn't official before a rainout.

I'm not sure what older tradionalists thoughts are, but why did it take 50 freaking years to get the DH in the NL? The games quality is so much better.

I cant remember too many situations where they have the grounds crew come out mid-inning to dry the field but don't actually bring out the tarp and make it an official rain delay.

They really want to make sure this game gets in it seems.

I was thinking the same thing.  I don't recall seeing anything like this before with the players still on the field.
