The decision on what to do with fields/panthers pick may end up being the biggest decision in Bears history

If this is even a slightly close call, then there's nothing to hope for the future.

It’s totally arbitrary and I will almost certainly change my mind again but:

I’m out on Fields based on that sack alone. He does it too often and it’s inexcusable and he can’t be doing this on his 3rd year playing for his career.

Yeah, but that’s not arbitrary. He’s in his third year, he’s never going to improve that. It happens over and over.

Herbert can’t pass block either. He makes the wrong decision way too often. I would be happy if he is gone.

I think he's about guaranteed to be traded with Roschon and a re-signed Foreman manning the backfield next year.

Yeah, I’m not sure what the deal is with Brisker. He’s good for one maybe two injury, timeouts a game, but then he usually comes back.

He’s paid by the NFL to take a dive whenever they’re overdue for a commercial break. But seriously I never even worry about him when he goes down anymore. He just pops right back in there. I think with the injury earlier he didn’t even miss a play

That turnover on downs completely flipped this game.

In a way. But also the lions making adjustments on defense and Fields getting his deer in headlights look didn’t help

No one will ever be happy with a short yardage playcall that doesn't work, but I have zero problem with going for it on that fourth down and I have zero problem flipping it to Moore, who is our best runner in space and scored our only touchdown of the game on an outside run.

Feels like Fields has to make that throw sooner. Come on man

Never going to happen, just isn't capable, these must be his last 4.5 games as a Bear.

It just sucks I hate almost all of the QBs in the draft.

Fields held the ball for 6.3 seconds on that sack he took. Would like to see how the coverage looked but regardless he has to get rid of that ball

Fields had his best drive since the return from injury there.

MIssed a TD to Moore on second down though.  That ball needed to be two yards farther outside and Moore catches it easily.  He threw it behind and let the defender catch up.

Absolutely nothing there on 3rd down.

Yeah - that was on the scheme or the receivers.

He was a bit off on the 2nd down throw, though. It wasn't a terrible throw and the defender made a good play. But it's a td if it's more outside.
