Why is fields so up and down lol? He goes from elite to looking terrible back to elite in the same game

I think a lot of it is play calling.  I don't think Getsy is very good at calling plays that play into his strengths and he puts him in uncomfortable positions.

Because he has severe processing and operation issues that prevent him from consistently making the correct decisions on the field, but tremendous physical talent to make plays.

He stole a TD from Kmet with a bad throw, but he made it back with his legs there.

He put the ball where it would lead Kmet to the end zone. Kmet blew that.

The only way that ball leads Kmet is if the laws of physics are suspended or he no longer had a solid spine.

It was not a good throw, but it 100% should have been caught

It dropped right through his hands

I think Kmet thought it would be back shoulder, Fields tried to lead him. Regardless, Kmet should have been able to catch it

The Bears might win but I'm not any closer in my desire to keep Fields. The worst of both worlds.

That 2 point conversion attempt was literally let Moore go 1 on 1 and see if he can win.

Honestly on first watch he should have just thrown it before Moore broke free, seemed like he would have had him. I’d have to watch the replay though because the pressure got to him pretty fast.

if you only have 1 read you have to throw with anticipation. If you throw an INT oh well as long as they don’t take it back for 2 points.

It's unbelievable that this is the same defense that was historically awful over the first 4 or 5 weeks.

Actually, the Denver defense was worse over the first 4 weeks...until they played the Bears, and then they've suddenly been world beaters since.
