I've been very critical of Poles' decision to build defense first since his first draft, but I can't say that he hasn't gotten his money's worth.  I don't think his job is in any danger now.

So Fields was decent today. He had the chance to put up a monster game, but he left a lot of yardage on the field.

Just to annoy everyone I’ll mention again that if the Bears didn’t suffer 2 very improbable losses to the Lions and Broncos, they’d be 7-6 and in a playoff spot

He made 6-8 big plays that were all or mostly him, including two touchdowns.

He missed a lot of throws and had several of his hophophophophophophop sacks.

He did have zero turnovers which is very important.

Yeah, it was neither good nor bad. There's was some bad, especially that early sack, and some wow factor too, but overall he was just OK.
