I have a problem with a pitch wide to a WR with no deception whatsoever.  Absolute garbage call.  I think the one thing we know for sure is that Getsy isn't an NFL offensive coordinator.  Okay, maybe Fields holds the ball too long too.

It wasn't alligator arms, I rewatched the play, he intentionally batted the ball out of bounds. He did not try to catch it.

The WR we pitched to is the best runner in space on the team. If you've got a must-gain outside run, he's literally the best option.

It’s totally arbitrary and I will almost certainly change my mind again but:

 

I’m out on Fields based on that sack alone. He does it too often and it’s inexcusable and he can’t be doing this on his 3rd year playing for his career.

I think its pretty easy what just transpired is exhibit A for how Fields is a hindrance to winning, take you're chances with Maye or Williams.

Bears had the ball at the Lions 38 with 11 mins left in the 2nd and a 10-0 lead.  Despite this the Bears may be losing at halftime with the Lions getting the ball to start the 3rd.
