It's like 5 bucks for a month of Peacock.  The uproar across social media about this is laughable.

It's the precedent it sets. Yes, it's $5, but if this works then it's going to happen more and more across various streaming services.

Stroud’s unbelievable. Subjectively, this is the best rookie season by a QB I’ve ever seen.

I’ll never be mad they passed up on using the 2023 pick on a QB because, lol, they would have gotten Young, but Stroud is looking insane.

Yep. The NFL just wants to get all the money it can from the streaming boom. And they’re probably gonna.

Not so sure what all the fuss about Stroud is.

I mean it was a playoff game and he couldn't even throw for 300 yards

Almost 80% completion percentage, 3TDs, passer rating+150 again a very good defense for a rookie in a playoff is great. Throwing for only 270+ yards doesn't diminish his performance.

It's $5.99/month.  Regardless of cost, it's still horsefeathers.  They also are running a $30 for a whole year special knocking it down to $2.50 a month and I bit on that because there's enough other things on there my gf and I will watch that it becomes worth it at that price point.

Peacock is awesome. I get Killing It, and my wife keeps the Real Housewives stuff on a loop. Really frees up my nights to watch whatever the horsefeathers I want in my basement without someone yapping at me.

If you chose to pass up on this amazing streaming service you didn’t miss much tonight that’s for sure.

It's a shame the refs decided to give KC this game on a horsefeathers roughing penalty while not calling a hold on the same play.  Chiefs fans are perhaps the most obnoxious people in existence.

Laughable seems a bit harsh. A lot of people don't live in areas where streaming works in their house. I get spotty at best live streaming. I get fuzzy, pixelized and buffering screens during live broadcasts. There are a lot more rural areas that struggle with this more than you might think.

Personally, I spend enough on NFL each year, and I'm not the slightest bit interested in signing up for new apps to watch games. I also believe NFL and NBC is alienating the very same fanbase they've been attempting to build up all of these years with decisions like this. But, everything is going to pay tv sooner rather than later, so this is just one more step to get closer to that goal, I suppose.

How much do you think you pay for espn?

It's extremely inconvenient and annoying how hard it is to watch NFL games these days. I wish you could just pay NFL a flat fee to have access to every game, but so it goes, thats not the way of capitalism.

Anyway, I either pirate the games I want or I go to a bar.

So I should also pay for various other services on top of that too?

I’m responding to your comment about precedence and “if this works”

it works. Sports went to pay cable decades ago. Americans pay to watch regular season games all the time. They pay to watch postseason games all the time. The precedent is set.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the Cowboys are going to walk ove the Packers?

I'm actually expecting the opposite.

You appear to be a better Judge than I.

Never underestimate the ability of the Packers or Cardinals to ride mediocrity into deep playoff runs or championships. Between that and Dallas being a perennial playoff choker, it was destined to be.
