Dude if you don’t know that a game thread is an emotional release after a gut punch loss after all the time on this forum I don’t know what to tell you. Almost everyone upset will be perfectly logical in about 20 minutes

Is Dansby basically bad Javy right now?  A little less chase, a little more reliable on defense, and a little less power, but very similar performance.

I’m confident all of them will hit again this year. Well maybe not Tauchman but the rest. I’d just like to see it soon. I knew Swanson was streaky but I didn’t think he’d have entire months with a sub .500 OPS.  Candelarios slump is much shorter and he’s still walking but 2-29 is pretty bad. Hope he works out of it quickly.  Morel mostly just looks lost up there and it’s upsetting but I’m sure he’ll figure it out at some point

Alzolay has looked shaky for a bit now,  but that was on the offense.  Getting their starter to 36 pitches in the 1st should have been the beginning of the end,  even though the offense didn't score.  Instead,  the offense got aggressive with a wild pitcher,  and let him get into the 5th.

Too drunk to understand why people might be upset that the team blew a ninth inning lead? Don’t be dense.

I mean, sure. Big picture it’s good to split. But circumstances change and we had a game in the bank and were two outs from a second win. It’s not that hard to understand.
