Madrigal and a prospect like Bigge or Hodge for Luzardo and Joey Wendle. Adds more depth and both fit nicely though idk that Luzardo is a must with all the other depth we now have in the rotation.

 

I want Luzardo, think he has the TOR upside currently lacking, but it's going to take a good deal more than that.

Yeah I thought the same thing. I wonder if the Giants essentially said tell us what you want because we absolutely have to sign you. Was he likely to get a 2 year contract from anyone else?

Yeah after the excitement/relief of getting Swanson, I'm feeling pretty meh about this team. They're not terrible but it's just not enough if they round out the off-season with Barnhart, Smyly, and Mancini.

 

I'll talk myself into Bellinger after he has a good couple games in ST because it's more fun that way. But with the way the off-season has played out and if the idea was always to stay under the LT, I kinda hate that signing right now.

Now that's an interesting trade. Varsho will presumably play only CF in Toronto with Jansen and Kirk still there. Kiermeier now becomes a backup?

 

Arizona has Carson Kelly at catcher but he's been somewhat disappointing and Moreno could be a stud. Curious who else is in the deal.
