seems like a success whenever the cubs put one in play. at least then theres the chance of an error

Do I remember wrong or was there talk before the series about how Sixto Sanchez's strikeout rate was oddly low for a guy who can throw so hard? So much for that.

Is there any metrics out there that can manage bat speed? I think Javy's bat speed has slowed down enough to make him terrible. He was right on the first 2 strikes in that AB and just swung late.

he looked like he was swinging a bat made of lead.

He needs to drop the leg kick. It will sacrifice a ton of power but the way his swing is now, there is no way hes catching up to 98+

Had to mute it when Chipper started talking about the "clutch gene".

There's Darvish with your horsefeathering clutch gene, Chipper.

What is more likely: Cubs get a hit to drive someone home from 2nd or KB Sac bunts and we get a runner home from 3rd with 1 out?

That was a terrible send.

And I agree with it 100%. Symptom of having a terrible offense, you need to take advantage of a situation like that, especially with Javy in deck who has no chance of putting the ball in play

Edit: and as I hit submit he hits what would have been a sac fly
