If you had a button you could push right now that would guarantee the Cubs sweep their way to winning the WS this year, but it would also ensure that we must endure President Trump for at least 4 years, WOULD YOU PUSH IT?

I'm as huge of a Javy fan as there can be, but doesn't Rizzo kind of need to be ALL of our favorite player?

I'd shatter my hand on the button trying to push it as fast as possible. And there's no chance I would ever vote for Trump.

Wouldn't come close to touching the button. Because one is sports and one is real life.

On a semi-releated note, I WOULD pay $5,000 or more to temporarily view the alternate reality of a Trump presidency just to see how messed up things would get.

Trying to decide if I need to make plans to go find a place to watch the games or not...

Can I watch postseason games on MLB.tv with a valid subscriber login even if I live in the blackout area? If so, will it only be for the games listed here? Trying to decide if it is worth it or not to buy and/or if I need to make plans to watch elsewhere as I do not have the proper tier of cable and don't want to hassle with subscribing for a month and then unsubscribing.

My understanding is that you need a cable login to watch MLB.tv postseason streams. In other words, think of that $10 as a charge to stream to a browser/iOS device instead of access to the stream itself. Since FoxSportsGo and TBS online are actual things, it's a pretty pointless $10 to spend.

Long story short, you need a cable login or a streaming package like SlingTV or Vue that gives you access to FoxSports 1/TBS. Without them you won't be able to (legally) stream playoff games.

But what about game 2?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think/hope the live stream link will work: http://m.mlb.com/network/live

I'm not sure if by Free preview they mean that anyone can access the stream too, so that might require a cable login.

I really hope they don't stick game 3 on MLBN too, as it looks like that's still undecided. I mean put it on a real channel most people get; this isn't the NHL for Pete's sake.

I saw at least one TV schedule that had WAS/LA already listed for MLBN on Monday, but that was probably just a guess.

I really wish I hadnt given him my click for that. Don't read that, people. Just don't.

And really don't read the comments.

The older I get the more I can't stand these smarmy people who live to tell you why everything you like sucks.

Isn't that pretty much what Deadspin is these days?

Yep. Even their hatred of STL, while amusing, is pretty much in that territory anymore.

Jeez, unclench already; you're all acting like someone disbanded the PTA or something because Deadspin wrote a smartass article.

In case you were avoiding that Fox Sports special about the history of being a Cubs Fan that aired last night after the game, it was actually a really fun watch and very well made.
